Hi all,
I have downloaded LinnGUI and KinskyGUI and both are working but I do not see any differences between the two products other than the name in the title bar.
Am I missing something here?
Are there any differences?

Hi Chip,

Kinsky is the open source GUI code base from which LinnGui is derived. Currently there is no significant feature difference between Kinsky and LinnGui.

The main difference between Kinsky and LinnGui at present is the amount of internal testing that occurs on a release. LinnGui is put through Linn's internal QA process before being released, whereas Kinsky is not put through the entire QA process.

The main reason for Linn having the LinnGui is to allow Linn to control the features and skins included with their GUI; Since Kinsky is an open source project it is conceivable that in the future new features and skins will be added that Linn is perhaps not interested in. The current model allows Linn to be selective about what features and skins they wish to include in a release.

kinsky runs fine on my macbook, have the feeling, that the new version (1.4.1) is also more stable than the older one which i had installed before.
