Hi
I’m looking for some guidance in regards to the best way to use iTunes with the DS. We use the 'Ripcaster Tranquil AVA RS3' as a NAS but I’m yet to decide upon the best way to go about using iTunes with the DS. Would be very grateful for some recommendations!

The DS is not iTunes aware since iTunes is not a true UPnP control point.
I use a mac mini as a media-server with an external firewire-harddisk and twonky, slimserver and iTunes running on it.
On my iMac I point iTunes and the twonkyserver to the iTunes-libraryfile on the mac-mini, so I can rip and organize my Apple-lossless-musicfiles (about 9000) and create playlists in Itunes, which is quite comfortable.
I use a N800 with LeiaDS as control point and this combination works wonderful.
The only shortcut is album art, but that seems to be a problem with twonky since slimserver shows all of them, while twonky shows only some of the embedded art and none of the coverart-files in the folders... So I´m looking forward to the further development of SkweezyDS to possibly get rid of Twonkymedia.

Hi,
I´m sorry if this is already asked and answered on the forum but I could not find anyone mentioning it.
I have a large collection of music that has been purchased through the itunes store and is therefore DRM protected. I have installed Eyeconnect which is working perfectly except, as you can probably see where I´m going with this, shows the DRM music but of course cannot play it.
Has anyone seen a simple solution to this, rather than using a drm removal tool?
Cheers
Paul
