Hi,
I'm mounting an Ittok with the outboard armrest to a table that never had one before.
I need to know where to drill the hole for the armrest, none of the templates show it.
If someone could tell me the measurement from the front of the arm board to the center line of the armrest hole I would really appreciate it.
Where in general? Same place as all the odd socks (since someone started the idea it sounds better without)

I wonder what proportion of Ittoks are missing an armrest, thanks to that. In specific, it's not critical.

Mine is drilled 85mm in from the front. It's also skewed 3mm to the left of centre, but I don't know if that is standard or not. To the best of my knowledge my armboard is stock though.
The hole shall be 83 mm from the front, 49 mm from the left side and 53 mm from the right side (seen from above).
The LP12 armboard is pre-cut. It is only the top that remains uncut. Just turn it over.
Thanks a lot guys, that's what I needed.
While I've got the table apart, is there any reason not to drill through where the 3 wood screws go into the arm board and use nuts & bolts to secure the arm board to the subchassis?
Seems that would be a lot more secure.

Not recommended. I tried this many years ago and it does not improve the tune at all.

My word, that question is going to open up a can of worms!
Where have you been Todd? That has to be the oldest and most contentious LP12 mod of them all.

Off lost in VPI land
Back now and much happier.
