Got my Sneaky DS today and while extremely pleased with audio performance there seems to be a slight problem during playback, sometimes my music fades out then comes back in again. Does this mean I just have a week internet connection? All my cd's were accurate ripped by dBpoweramp.
Hi

How have you connected it all up?
Hi, Ethernet cable from sneaky into router, Ethernet cable from router into laptop. Interconnect cable from sneaky to headphone-amp. Also using twonky media, songbook. I've just been playing back music without interuption for about 10 mins without no cut out, then same problem again, music cuts out. It's so frustrating because I'm enthralled by the quality of the sound and every time it cuts out it is such a pain.
It is definitely the network. The DS will fade out when the input buffer gets exhausted. Using Linnconfig try change the buffer size to 'large' to see if it helps. If not, add a dedicated network (Netgear, D-Link or Linksys) switch and connect the DS, your router and laptop to it.
I changed buffer size to large which seemed not to work, then i brought the twonky music up on screen whilst listening to the sneaky and it did not fade out at all, so hopefully the problem seems to have eradicated itself, fingers crossed.
The main thing to do to avoid this is to configure Twonky to do manual rescans. (-1 or 0, can't remember which).
