hi everyone. i just bought a pair of Linn Index II speakers/stands and like everyone else immediately fell in love with the sonics. they simply blew away my dynaco a25's. would appreciate any info/help on these issues.
1. they are missing the spikes and i was wondering if the size is M6 or M8.
2. there are no screws to hold the steel rods at the metal base plate so i just used regular hex screws with washers. the other end i just screwed on to the base of the speakers. did i do it right or am i still missing some hardware.
i'm just amazed at how good these speakers sound for their size. being the entry level to linn's wide array of speakers, i'm eagerly looking forward to probably upgrading or adding some more speakers in the future. thanks and all the best to everyone.
