Adding Images to Posts

To insert a picture stored on your hard drive into a post:

Click on Choose File
Select your pic
Click on Add Attachment

Click on Preview Post
Find the Attached File(s) section at the foot of the preview
Right-click* on the link to the pic and select Copy Link Address (or similar)

Put the cursor where you want the picture to appear
Click on the Insert Image icon (the mountains)
Paste in the URL and hit OK
Post

That's it! Storing pictures with Linn, instead of using a third party site, means the picture can never expire.

*If you can't right click, then click on the link normally.
A new tab or window will appear, saying 'The specified thread does not exist.'
Ignore that, and copy the URL at the top of the window, which will look like this: http: //forums.linn.co.uk/bb/attachment.php?aid=nnnn

Note: maximum size for uploaded images is currently 500K
