kds/1 and rds in audio magazine - bassato - 2011-06-11 16:15
got my july issue of german hifi magazine audio today. in there is a review of kds/1 and rds - well, to put a long story short:
the kds/1 is claimed to be the best and most intense digital source ever heard by them and a massive improvement on kds. sound is described as being different to kds, a bit darker with more detail, body and a surprising hologram-3d stage.
nice words on the renew as well - typical kds sound in a new body: "a king in beggars gown, the ultimate in understatement and probably the coolest hifi-gadget of the year".
we are not suprised, aren't we?

Sold my MDS today, keeping the RDS, songcasting KDS/1 to RDS, spending the day walking from room to room with a big smile on my face

If you can read German and you have an iPad you can download the free Audio app with the complete July issue of Audio including the review.

Are they trying to demonstrate the differences in the audio version; that tiny wee iPad speaker isn't really up to doing the job!
