On the Universal Music Store site it's mentioned that the audio quality is 24bit and 44.1kHz.
A pity it's not real HD (24bit 96kHz) quality.

Yup. Noticed that. It also says it will be available on the 1st January 2011. Just very poor diligence when put the information on the website. Rolleyes
Hey you never know, perhaps they have both got the sample rate wrong as well and it is 96kHz.Big Grin

After I'd had one of favourite studio masters several months I noticed in Kinsky that it was "only" 24/44.

For me it is the 24 bit that makes the biggest difference, although there is a difference with faster sampling rates.

Price is €240.00, and it comes with a lot of stuff I have no interest in (that is all except the music files). I guess that's just a bargain for a real Queen fan, but this is beyond what I dare to call fairly priced..

I ordered this a few weeks ago and it turned up last week. Not managed to listen to much yet so can't really comment on quality. If you do buy it just be prepared to sort out all the tags and find the album art. Unfortunately the files come in .WAV and with no embedded artwork or .JPG images. There is a piece of flash playback software that has all the artwork in to but no obvious/easy way to extract.

Just decovered this yesterday at a local electronic shop. Can somebody comment on the sound quality please?

Most importantly, have the dynamics been compressed on these? If anyone has a Spec graph on some representative material, this would be nice to see.
