RE: Kaber tweeters
I have replaced the tweeters on my Kabers twice. I bought my Kabers in 1991, first replaced the tweeters in 1992 with SPKR015/1 by Linn themselves when they were upgraded, and then in 2006 with SPKR015/5, done by a dealer. Both were big improvements. However a word of warning. The allen screws on the tweeters have now locked solid on one of the speakers. They are impossible to move. The dealer was supposed to seal the solder with a glue gun, he didn't do this and I only noticed when I took the first tweeter out to check the connection, as mentioned the other tweeter is locked solid. So beware when removing the allen screws !
