What an amazing offer. How many companies these days would do this? In my mind, Linn has changed significantly in the last five years or so by being more open and closer to it's existing and potential customers.

Just received an e-mail that this event has now been cancelled - the day after I booked practically non-refundable flights to Glasgow. I hope Linn are going to do the decent thing and reimburse me.

That's a pain; I know how hopeless it is to get flight refunds from almost all these airline operators. I wish they'd give the option to cancel and hold your credit in account until you book another, but most don't even offer that service (they only offer to transfer to a fixed future date, but even that costs a fair bit per flight change). I guess that if Linn are swift about re-scheduling the event (and thus release new dates quickly) you might be able to change your existing flight dates at less financial impact.

I got the same email, but it did say that I am more than welcome to still turn up on the day, which is what I intend to do. Never been before, but am sure it will be an interesting visit. Maybe you should do the same, rather than waste the tickets?

I've been to the factory twice before so the whole point for me was the event and the fabulous hospitality heard about at previous events.

Sorry for the delay in updating you all. I have just returned for holiday to find that many of you would loved to have joined us but are otherwise engaged, so we have made the difficult decision to reschedule this event to a more suitable date for all.

I know that some of you may have already booked your flights and that you might not be able to get a full refund. If this is the case, please contact me directly and I will make sure that you receive a refund.
