RE: Woodsong Plinths
Chris,

More black plinths for early summer sounds good.

Look forward to some pictures one day.

And, perhaps I should start saving up some pennies.

Smile

Maybe not as dark as some, but very nice nevertheless.

With respect, all my gear is also black on black (except for a bloody silver Lingo 2! Sad ) in a modern house ... but my oiled Tasmanian Myrtle plinth really shows up well against all the black. Smile

So don't be afraid to choose one of Chris's beautiful woods. Big Grin

and one more to show how the look changes depending on the viewing angle and the angle of the light ...

Apologies for the quality of the images, the wife took all my lights and flashes down to a seminar in another city. All I had were my ceiling lights and the heavy overcast skies outside !

I guess when/if I get serious I will have to make a visit to the only 'exclusive dealer' in the UK to select the plinth and then take it back to my own dealer for fitting.

I don't imagine that would be an issue to either dealer.

I include my images as an attachement, then post.

Once posted, go back and edit in a second window. In the first window, on your post, do a right-click on your image link and click on Copy Shortcut.

Then go to your second window where you're editing your original post, then insert the image by clicking on the little image icon, paste your copied short cut into the path asked for when inserting the image.

Make sense ?
