FC Cologne going second division

What a sad and black saturday.
My supported soccer team is going again down to second division here in Germany.
Our best player Podolski is leaving for Arsenal.
Think it is time for a couple of beers...

Can I just say.... I hate football with a passion

It is a game that has become dominated by money, moved to an America model of franchise, is no longer a contact sport for men, has a core of cheating on the pitch and corruption off the pitch, it has no respect for it's fans (see franchising) and is riddled with a fundamental lack respect for the officials.

In England the Premiership has ruined any chance of England ever winning any sort of Cup, it is just a brand that is love with itself, Foreign owned, players on millions who don't give a damn about their club or their supports who don't have any morals.

And just before you ask, yes I used to go to watch games and was a supporter of my very local club Tranmere Rovers and Liverpool, when it was a proper game with players who were proud to play for the same club for 500 games.

Rant over.... Sorry here Cologne went down...

Btw Did you know that fans from England now fly into Germany to watch football, because of the set-up in Germany is more like it should be

Completely agreed! Germany is on the best way to same like that in my opinion.
