How to add URL links in a post

Is there a way to have a link in a post, where you link appears as text that reads as a part of a sentence. For example, as I talked about in an earlier post.

I know the forum recognises URL's pasted into a post and so displays them as links. I also know the way to insert pictures is to write OpenSquareBracket img CloseSquareBracket imageURL OpenSquareBracket Slash img CloseSquareBracket or [ img ] url [ / img ] without any spaces.

That would be the link in written text inbetween a closed and an open url bracket...

without spaces inside the square brackets.

you can achieve the same result in the full reply mode (new reply button). There you have an Insert hyperlink button, like a little globe on a skateboard, which lets you add both the URL and the hypertext. The result is exactly as Tom says.
