PlugPlayer cannot connect to network! Help!
Hi Folks!

After two very fun days playing with PP, I arrived to a dead end street!
Now I cannot use PP!

The message shows "No Network Connectivity - please connect to a network and restart PlugPLayer".

BUT, yes, the iPAD is with wireless connection to my (internal) network.
Note, this network is not currently connected to the internet. But neither it was on the last two days...

So, can anybody give me a urgent help?
I tried everything, restart my router, restart Linn Sneaky DS, restart iPAD, disconnect wifi and connect again on the iPAD.
Nothing seems to work, and this is very frustrating because I cannot use PP, that I was enjoying so much!

Version of PP is 3.5.1, recently installed.

I have the same problem with Plugplayer on my iPhone and was lucky to have an old version on my iPod. But now the old version is getting unstable too.
I was very happy with this cheap app, but it's getting very frustrating now. So, the same question for me, and...

...which app can I use as a alternative (with Twonky + Cara 4)? Any suggestions?

Regards,

Peter

I had this issue two or three times with PlugPlayer, but it worked out by itself after half an hour or so. I don't know what it was.

I can not recommend any of the existing control apps for the iPhone (i bought them all). But PlugPlayer seems to be the easiest and most intuitive one.

RE: PlugPlayer cannot connect to network! Help!
Shut down the router. And turn the phone/pad completely off. Then restart router. Then restart the phone.

Klimax DS/1/D, Klimax Kontrol/1/D, ATC SCM50SL AT, jRiver Media Center v17 Big Grin

Salty Dog system RenewDS, Karin, Klout, Tukans and of course jRiver.

Did you try to shut down PP and restart it ?
Very often, PP get stucked on my iPad and a shutdown/restart solved the pb.

And now I don't use it anymore.

Yes, I shut down PP several times...but what does it mean, the shut down? Because we get out of IPad applications, and then we go back to the same point...it seems that we go back to a memory state...

RE: PlugPlayer cannot connect to network! Help!
To "Shut Down" an iPad/iPhone/iPod app, you need to double click the home button, which should make the screen slide upwards, revealing the currently running apps at the bottom. If you then hold your finger over the app you want to close, a red "x" appears on the corner (similar to deleting the whole app from the main screen). Pressing the "x" will close the app, then when you return to the home page and select the app again it will restart.

Main System: Renew DS > Exotik+DA/D > A2200/D > 242s (mk2)
& A3200/D > 106c, 104c's (using Linn Silvers & K400, on Hutter rack)

Dining Room: Sneaky DS > Majik 109s (using "K200")
Bedroom: Majik DS > Tivoli Radio Model 3 + Companion Speaker
