Cones under LP12

RE: Cones under LP12
In my experience, I've come to the conclusion that it really depends upon what your LP-12 is sitting on, the environment, and perhaps even the compliance of your cartridge. The first time I tried a Trampolin on Fraim, it didn't work for me, and I much preferred the old rubber feet. Later, as I moved onto Finite Element Pagoda Master Reference, the Trampolin worked better than anything I tried. Just my two cents worth.

RE: Cones under LP12
Many years ago I tried 3 Black diamond Racing cones with ye old solid base board sitting upon a Frameworks stand. While one did notice a difference and if I remember rightly some things were quite good, even better. I decided overall (as did a friend) ye old LP12 sounded more right sitting on it's four feet.

I do have some JAS AUDIO graphite cubes with stainless steel cup inserts for steel/glass ball bearings I could try under my Tramp but I fear the worst.

Do you want a magnetic field directly under your LP12. Not sure if that is any good.......

-LP12/Keel/Radikal/Ekos SE/sKale/Benz LP
-LP12/Keel/Armageddon/Ekos 2/Benz Ruby 2
-Audio Research SP-11/Mark Levinson No. 27.5

RE: Cones under LP12
I initially thought that but the magnets are opposing each other at the 4 corners of the stand and underneath the acrylic sandwich - just a thought
