When trying to import presets, the application stops half way. In my case it always stops at preset number 186 of 385 in total. When it stops, this message is displayed:

The following error was encountered:
Objektreferensen har inte angetts till en instans av ett objekt
***********************************************
The last line is in Swedish but it should translate to:
'Object reference not set to an instance(?) of an object'

All presets, also 186 and 187, plays normal on my DS. When going back to KinskyJukebox Cara (3.4.1), import is done without problems. I'm not shure if it's a bug in KinskyJukebox or something else in my set-up.

I also have a question regarding the option 'Options/Organisation/Local Radio'. After choosing 'Create Local Radio Playlists' and then scanning my collection, I get a bookmark called 'Local Radio (Stockholm) Powered by Radio Time', but there are no presets under that bookmark. I have a working Radio Time account that plays perfectly on my DS. Should all stations on my Radio Time account turn up under this bookmark?

Windows Pro XP
Akurate DS/Linn Konfig: Davaar 4.1.5
KinskyDesktop: 4.1.2

Hello Mikael,

The import failure appears to be a bug. I will investigate it today or tommorow so there should be a fix available in the nightly build for this weekend.

The local radio thing has nothing to do with your individual radiotime account/preset list. It simply attempts to gather all of the local stations in your area (which is done by discovering the location of the request). Could you paste the follwing into a browser and send me back the response (will be in xml). This request works fine here (UK):

Thank you joshh for looking into the problem. When looking closer at the 'Loading presets' count at the bottom of the screen, the import seems to stop when the count reaches above 200 presets, but only 186 presets are displayed.

I used your link, and it seems to work, this is what i get:

Hello Mikael,

I seem to remember having a similar problem in the past and found I only experienced it if I was working wirelessly (from my laptop). If I connected to my switch with cat cable all was well and a lot faster. I assumed it was a buffer issue with the wireless. You don't say how you are connected so maybe it's not relevent but thought I would mention it.

Hello Bill,

I have a power adapter connection (Devolo dLan 200 AV) between my PC (KinskyJukebox) and the DS (average speed 130 Mbit/s). And between the PC and NAS it's a hard wired Gigabit LAN with a Netgear GS105 switch. Every time I switch back to KinskyJukebox Cara, it works flawlessly, and so all other incarnations of KinskyJukebox I have used before. So I don't think it's the connection. But thanks anyway for the tip.

Hi Mikael,

Both issues (import, local radio) were bugs and have been fixed. The nightly build of KinskyJukebox will refelect these changes as of tomorrow. (Make sure the nightly build you download shows 2011-04-07 or later)
