Just thought of a nice-to-have feature: play two versions of the same recording (e.g. different masterings, different resolutions) in sync and be able to switch back and forth between version A and B.

Any way to do this with a DS?

Don't need to be in sync, just make a playlist and switch back and forth between the different version. I will post the link of the last meeting of the Shanghai Audiophile Society where the topic of the evening was a format comparison as soon as will be published on line.

Yeah you do not want it actually in sync; I don't fully remember but I think 20 secs delay was optimal? That is what the mind remembers, or is that based on my wife talking to me

Seriously a delay helps you re-hear the same passages on an A/B comparison.
