Avondale power supply
Does anyone have any views on this power supply. It seems to run very warm and hums. Seems to sound fine on akito denon 304. Any comments on where it is in the pecking order of other supplies. I do not see many for sale second hand if I decide to move it on.
Best wishes, Mark |

RE: Avondale power supply
TAPS I guess. I tried one of these (though they haven't been made for years) - the one I tried had very low torque, so much so that the platter had to be started by hand. It was an interesting comparison, but I didn't feel tempted to abandon the Armageddon I compared it to.

RE: Avondale power supply
With all due respect, I'm sure the OP's question would garner more reponses if it were posted on the pfm forum.
