RE: "Cloud" storage
It wouldn't be something I would like personally as I am quite attached to my music collection but what we are talking about here is music being available on demand from one central source.
For example one might be able to subscribe Linn Records and have their catalog (or parts of it) available to stream to a persons DS player (or wirelessly in the future to an ipod type device). A bit like DAB on demand ????????? There is no need for me to store the music file personally, anywhere as long as once paid for I have unresricted access to it. KDS/1, KK1/D, Solo's/D, 242/2 + Solid bases, RipNas, Silver Balanced IC's, Van den Hul Snowline Quin wired. |

Next time I'm there, I could try to discretely install Twonky on the Linn Records server, then we'd all be able to use it free!

RE: "Cloud" storage
I might be old and out of touch with the new tech, but giving up music you bought to a virtual server overwhich you have no control and at the same time paying for the privilege makes me shutter.
