Non-Linn poweramp remote switchching ?

I`m using a minmal setup with ADS directly feeding the poweramp.

As the ADS has no 12V trigger output, I´m using a light sensitive switch box, placed just in front of ADSs display.
ADS on = Display bright -> contact closes -> 12V on the trigger line= power amp runs.
ADS off = Display dark -> contact opens -> 0 V on the trigger line= power amp off.

Thinking of an upgrade to Renew DS. No display anymore. No light sensitive switching possible.

Has anyone an idea, how to get a 12V trigger signal when switching the Linn DS on/off via ChorusDS or Plugplayer?
Maybe I could use the blue light at Renew´s front panel? Is the blue light extinguished with the Renew DS in stby mode?
