Using DS without Internet
Hello,
I need to use my ADS without Internet connection. Is it possible ? I've got a Ethernet Switch, ADS with Davaar and a PC. Thx. |

RE: Using DS without Internet
Perfectly possible, but you will miss:
radio automatic tagging and coverart when you rip cds btw you will also need a DHCP server on your network. Usually internet routers come with these built in, and they run automatically. Unless your switch has one, you will need to get some DHCP software to run on your PC. There's a small free download which will do it, cannot remember what it's called though. DS players need a DHCP server to give them a network address.
