When was the last time you turned your phone off and sat down to listen to a classic album on a great music system?

CAS and Linn will be at Bestival and Camp Bestival this summer, running several sessions a day for those fortunate enough to attend. There may be a podcast or something but these won't be getting 'broadcast' or streamed live via Linn Radio. The Classic Albums Sunday as a concept does encourage you to listen to that month's album from wherever you are - obviously it will be live in a specific place but the original Greg Wilson article that inspired it (http://www.gregwilson.co.uk/2010/06/living-to-music/) does talk about listening from wherever you are in the world (you will have to own or have access to the particular album though). Next month's album is The Human League's Dare, broadcast on July 10th. |

Okay then. As much as I like the option of internet radio, I find I prefer rips. So I am more interested now than before. Sounds like anything not in my collection would worth getting. Looking forward to the experience.
