Woodsong Plinths
I have noticed that the famous woodsong plinths have thanks to Chris developed a lovely new website. Great information and even better pictures. Cymbiosis in Leicester gets a good mention too.

RE: Woodsong Plinths
Thank you Mark!

And my deepest gratitude to Kuma, the artistic talent behind this website. Kuma, you are the best!

Also, special thanks to Peter, Thomas, Rick, Jonathan, and all the others who helped make this possible. Without you all, I would not be here..

( time to hit the shop now...)

Also... Thanks to Linn for creating the LP12, my favorite turntable!

Cheers all!

VERY nice website Chris, if you're reading. Someone did a fine job there.

EDIT:
Just a minute or two behind Chris' post. Well done Kuma!

Wow. Those plinths are absolutely beautiful. Still, the thing I want to buy most is the ugliest thing on the site! (The DV507 tonearm.)

Still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.

The website is beautiful! The photography is spectacular and truly does justice to the beauty of the plinths. Kudos to the photographer Wink

On a side note I am currently working with Chris on a plinth to go with my new speakers. A nicer and more attentive person would be difficult to find. He is a pleasure to work with and a truly nice person. He deserves all of the accolades which come his way.

Those plinths are beautiful. Is there any difference how they sound?

Yes, and indeed Thomas Ok has written much here and on other fora on his listening experiences between the different wood finishes.

Sometimes... Well actually oftenRolleyes, it's difficult for me to capture the real beauty of these plinths with my camera, but here goes:

Great plinths, built to a very high precision and lovingly hand finished. They really need to be seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated.

Congratulations to Kuma in creating a website that does justice to Chris and his work.
