Zoneripper Mini-help needed!!
Evening all....
Got the new ZoneRipper unpacked; set-up with remote desktop; viewed on Konfig & Kinsky on my Mac; hi res files transferred and playing - sorted.... Well no! Can't burn a CD!! Disc in, spins, then nothing, it runs for about 30 secs or so then stops - is doesn't eject either at this point as in its finished ripping the CD, it just sits in there. The CD doesn't show on RDC when inserted and nothing has ever registered as having been inserted/ripped etc. It won't eject the CD on the RDC either as it doesn't seem to think there is one in there. Various new CDs have been tried and nothing reads/rips.... Any similar experiences or advice - there is nothing on ZoneRipper or Ripcaster about troubleshooting the unit on this issue that i've seen? Cheers! * Linn Akurate DS 2010 * Meicord * Zoneripper Mini * * Mogami XLR * * Genelec 8040A * Apollo A4-6 * Granite Plinths * * RA Silencer Block & Classic PK * |

RE: Zoneripper Mini-help needed!!
You have tried restarting the Zone Ripper?
If yes, then contact Ripcaster, they will be able to remotely connect to the zoneripper to investigate. spoon www.dbpoweramp.com |

Turns out the optical drive isn't even connected/registered in the machine, so can't/won't read any discs ever - must have come loose during shipping/factory or something. Anyway they have kindly agreed to send a new one in exchange, disappointing obviously but can streamer 24bit from it over the wknd at least. Absolutely great customer service though from John at RipCaster, top man - well done - CS is alive & well in the UK!!! * Linn Akurate DS 2010 * Meicord * Zoneripper Mini * * Mogami XLR * * Genelec 8040A * Apollo A4-6 * Granite Plinths * * RA Silencer Block & Classic PK * |
