I'd much rather new visitors got excited about something and wanted to know more, than be turned off by too much technical jargon, model numbers and brand bingo.

It's not perfect (yet) but hopefully you'll start to see the benefits when new people start knocking on your front door looking for someone who can make their favourite album sound amazing Smile

Oli,
It is always great fun to get a potential customer excited about your product and even more fun when you turn them into a loyal customer. The new site has forgot about the bread and butter of Linn, the loyal customer. The people who will drop 3 grand for a keel upgrade or buy the latest and greatest pre-amp or source component, just because they know it will work well with their kit.

For instance, I found it very frustrating to have to come to the forums section to find a link for the archived product manuals. This could be easily placed in the support section, manuals, of the new site. The manuals section is only a link to general product info, not "manuals".

I look at websites as both a sells and support tool, the new Linn site is extremely lacking the latter. The support link is not a segue to "support", rather its a click right back to more sells info.

"New customers will grow a business, old customers will sustain it, treat both with the greatest respect and prosperity continues." I hope Gilad will learn this....

Good luck with the new site!
