Well I like the 404 page - pity I'm hitting it so often :-(

RE: The New Linn website
I like the navigation approach of the new site and the uncluttered style. Nice compact HTML too Smile

However I don't think that the present forum background photo works on my resolution - it's a bit distracting. How about a photo of an LP in close-up instead Big Grin

I have experienced intermittent 404 errors for pages that get returned on refresh, so clearly some gremlins. I could not repeat it, but I got a 404 for http://www.linn.co.uk/buying/klimax

RE: The New Linn website
The Akurate System does not seem to fit like the Majik and Klimax - no details or picture of the 2200 suggested as it seems the structure was only designed for two items. A little typo in the installer section talking about installing a 'Klimax' system. Seems to me the website has been a little rushed, perhaps with the DSM news leaking. Still I am sure the bugs will be sorted in the next few days. It WOULD be useful to have the DSM products in the products section.

More features? How about better design. I don't think it looks particularly professional although on the plus points its not full of flash. Sorry but it looks like a student put it together.

I don't find it coherent or consistent. E.G What's the story with DSM?
Is Linn offering 2 DS models in each range? i.e. Akurate DS and Akurate DSM?
Look under Buying Linn/Product Information/Linn DS and it refers to the DS players as the DS models. Look under Our Systems/Linn DS and it refers to DSM models. Just confusing if you ask me.

Long way to go me thinks Sad

More professional - more Linn

Actually constructed by Linn I was told, so definitely more Linn Smile

Very few issues given it's only been live a few hours - Excellent.

Yes, there will be DS and DSM models in each range. The product info section is mostly just a port of the old products section at the moment and does need further work, including adding DSMs. Consider the DSM info a preview so far. There is a long way to go but the groundwork is there...
