Caravan: In the Land of Grey and Pink - new 24 bit stereo mix
Can't see any mention of this in other threads, so for anyone that's interested there's a new 24bit stereo mix of Caravan's 1971 album In The Land Of Grey And Pink by Steven Wilson in the recent 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition. This can be got at with DVD Audio Extractor. It sounds pretty good to me on first listen. (Sorry, I can't get inset image to work.)

Regards, John

I bought the Limited only 500 pressed edition double pinkvinyl album when it came out a few months back.
Love what Steven Wilson has done on this.
.
Mud.

Some boxes with green, some boxes with red and some with blue lights.

Does the reissue have the original stereo mix in hires as well?
I wasn't too impressed with Steven Wilsons new mix of In The Court Of The Crimson King, to be honest.

No, just 16bit on CD - the other mix on the DVD is surround sound. It would have been good to have had both stereo mixes in 24 bit.
