RE: My Most Recent Concert
Daniel Lanois from Canada at the Ampere / Muffatwerk in Munich on August 16th, 2017.

Maybe not so well known as musician but probably as producer of Peter Gabriel's 'Birdy', 'So' and 'Us' as well as in cooperation Brian Eno of U2's 'The Unforgettable Fire', 'The Joshua Tree', 'Achtung Baby' and several more of their albums. He also worked on some releases of Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson (Robbie Robertson), The Neville Brothers (Yellow Moon) and many more.

Nevertheless a good performance with an extraordinary drummer (Kyle Lane) and supported by Guitarist Jim Wilson in an very intimate venue with only about 100 visitors.

Including PJH, there were 10 of them in the band and they were at least an order of magnitude beyond mega-fantastic! We were seated reasonably centrally and only 8 rows from the stage; just the very job! Smile

Same here; I bought Dry not long after it was released and have been massively enjoying PJH tunes ever since, but that was the first time that I'd heard her (and her very fine bunch of musicians; they were all totally awesome at that event) playing live.

He is a hero of mine that I would love to see. If you need an insight to his work check out his book Soul Mining.

RE: My Most Recent Concert
To me he is one of the best producers in the music business. He helped creating quite a lot of my favorite recordings.
