Mud, what do you mean that John tried to buy your Live At Leeds album off you many times? I thought he had a bunch of those himself that he sold from his house!

He is sadly missed over here too.
John didnt have a original vinyl copy.
Every time after a gig, drinking into the early hours he would try and buy my copy.
Good old day's.
I still live on the south coast.
I was blessed from the age of 16,
My mum & dad used to rent out homes to hippy rock stars in the late 60's and 70'S.
I became friends with a lot of them.
I was a pain in the bum being so young at the time.
But they were all brilliant to me and my mates at the time.
You should try sitting in a living room with these three in it when you came home from school at 15 ?

Only to find out a few months later one had died.
Noel became a great mate .

Some boxes with green, some boxes with red and some with blue lights.

Love that!

John's music has been a big part of my life since Bless The Weather came out. Played the Solid Air UK LP and Ain't No Saint and finished with Live At Leeds, on what has become an annual "Martynday" in memory of the guv'nor.
