RE: BubbleDS 1.4.1
Thanks for the quick reply about the album art.

I decided to investigate a bit more carefully - And then I discovered the "Scale cover to fit" option in the settings. I had never noticed this before !!!

Everything now looks great :-)

I think my "problem" is that because I am using a Nexus10 which has a lot of pixels, any jpg that is something like 700x700 looks relatively small and I was used to Kinsky automatically scaling.

RE: BubbleDS 1.4.1
BubbleDS 1.6.0 is now available on Google Play.
It brings cloud streaming from Google Music and Dropbox.

1.6.0
  • cloud streaming to DS from Google Music and Dropbox services
  • ability to hide devices (DS and Media Servers) from selection popups
  • ability to stream local music to DS from additional storage
  • reorganized settings screens
  • on app startup, searching for the last active DS can be cancelled
  • fixed lock screen controls not available in some scenarios
  • other fixes and tweaks

RE: BubbleDS 1.4.1
Cheers! I broke it already - on source selection (not in Settings) I long-held Klimax Kontrol to see if the hide option came up. I realise now it's not available in that context but whenever I tried to switch back to Klimax DS the app crashed - you probably got a few crash reports. Reinstalled app to fix.

Oh, I also notice that after marking a library or renderer hidden they still appear but with [Hidden] after their name in the list! Not sure of this is intentional.

Rega RP6/Exact/TTPSU/Fono, Linn KDS/1, KK/2, Lejonklou Tundra Monos, Audiovector Si3 Avantgarde Arreté, Audiovector Zero Avantgarde speaker cables, Chord Sarum Tuned ARAY interconnects, Hutter Racktime.

Ok, I got the crash report

This is intentional. To effectively hide the devices marked as hidden you must select Menu > Filter > Not hidden

Not possible because all these companies (Spotify, Rdio, mog, etc) offering streaming subscription services are UPnP unfriendly. They hate the fact that UPnP allows to play stuff on a multitude of different networked devices.

In short, you are locked to whatever tools they provide to play stuff, or you must use something like Songcast or Virtual sound card on a PC (Jamcast, Asset UPnP) which is totally independent and capture audio.

Songcast-like or Virtual Soundcard functionality is not possible on Android because there's no way to capture the music stream played by other apps.
