Sick of buying new 180 gram re-masters that sound dead.

Looks like Dazzroidicus purchased a new remastered album, and apparently it sounds good to him. But you're absolutely correct, many 180 and 200 gram albums sound terrible!

+1 on that. The latest 180 gram of The Wall is booooring and dull compared to the original as the story goes with many re-issues!

A few suggestions for you.
1/ Get doctor to syringe ears out - you could have a wax problem.
2/ Get you system fully serviced

As we get older we lose part of out hearing so if your getting on a bit then unfortunately nothing can be done.

When did you hear the new version ? I played it back to back with the original copy I have and the difference is quite significant.

RE: Pink Floyd The Wall vinyl
My hearing is fine, and it's always been fine. I only have the original Pink Floyd "Wall" album and need to find a new version to compare the two. However, not all 180 and 200 gram albums are musical.

I believe your speaking to me! If so, bla bla bla...To your comments about my age and my hearing and reference to the inability of my dealer to set up my table correctly! I found the most recent 180 gram pressing of the wall to be dull, boring, and lacking in dynamics! Does this upset you somehow? "and some just know everything"!

It's a bit of 'tongue-in-cheek' my friend
