If I read correctly, just substitute the IP address of your Linux laptop (or desktop) for "the_local_ip_address_of_ your_Linux" in the above instructions, so you end up with a url that's valid within the context of your local network - something like http://192.168.xxx.xxx/stream.ogg, depending on the address range set up in your dhcp server...
It'd be advisable to go into the dhcp server config - typically your router - to reserve an IP address for your Linux device so that the url always resolves correctly. Linn sources, amps, & cables; Spendor speakers |

Yes, it's correct, in tunin, add the channel address something like that: htt://192.168.a.b/stream.ogg, where 192.168.a.b is the local address of your computer where is played the music, DVD... Enjoy! |
