Happy as a clam
My first post on this Forum.I just wanted to thank those responsible for gently nudging and prodding me to take the plunge and purchase my first LP12. Glevethan and Peter S were instrumental in helping me along in my journey. Thanks also to Chris Harban for crafting a beautiful case for my new wonderful instrument. I look forward to contributing to this forum as time allows- right now I am up to my elbows in LP's that need cleaning, but I truly am as happy as a clam!

RE: Happy as a clam
Congrats. I still remember getting my Linn in 1979. With lots of help from ThomasOK it's going strong more than 30 years later. An investment in your sound future.

Welcome to the forum and I am glad to have been of help in the "nudging" department. Of course it only helps matters when you have had the foremost LP12 guru build and setup your deck! As usual, it looked so much better in the flesh. I, finished it on Friday and spent the remaining time in Calgry optomising the set up of both an Ayre system (shown here) and also a Naim system. Never thought a crowbar would be part of the requirements for suspension setup of an LP-12, Peter.
I have new respect for these turntables. But seriously, that looks awfully like an interrogation kit.
