SPEND MY MONEY ON AC (SHUNYATA) OR ON A USED AKURATE KONTROL?

---- Hi, all this is my first post. My system is a Linn Renew DS -> Majik DSM -> Majik C6100 -> Aktiv M140. DS->DSM is silver RCA DSM->6100 is black RCA 2xK400 for M140 I have 3k to spend. Should I spend to get a used Accurate Kontrol (AK0) or Shunyata Hydra-4 alpha + Hydra HC + 3 Shunyata power cable. What's the wiser way to spend my money? Will I have more sonic improvement with cleaner power or a better pre-amp? Thanks in adv. Do you use any other sources, and do you want to keep the DSM for another room?
If the answer to both of those is "No" then I'd sell the DSM, add your 3k (assuming GBP here) and buy yourself a used Klimax Kontrol and a 2100. Another good option would be the newer AK/1, since you don't appear to need surround. You would still need a 2100 though to give the last two channels for your aktiv 140s. Main System: Renew DS > Exotik+DA/D > A2200/D > 242s (mk2) & A3200/D > 106c, 104c's (using Linn Silvers & K400, on Hutter rack) Dining Room: Sneaky DS > Majik 109s (using "K200") Bedroom: Majik DS > Tivoli Radio Model 3 + Companion Speaker |

What he said. It's an odd system and a DS / KK / passive might be better. Even a Renew straight into a 2200.
I'd also go to a pair of 212s or 242's passive. |

If you only have a one source you might want to audition a Lejonklou Kikkin. I just switched from one to an AK/0 (I need two inputs) and I can't say I noticed any difference. They are only about £350 used which would leave you a fair bit of money for other things.

Thanks for the suggestion of Kikkin. After doing some reading, It sounds something wonderful to try. Now just have to find a used Kikkin 2.2
 , that seems to be difficult...AK/0 also gives you surround capability for 6x the cost... hmm....
