Oh no!!!!! 320A

My 320As came back from being dynamiked an DON'T work!!
My dealer was on his way to a long weekend and came by to quickly install the module. First sound check: HORROR! Noise! He had to leave then until Thuesday.

As you can`t do anything wrong with the 4 plugs from the module to the speakers it must be the dynamiked modules.

Already 3 weeks without my main setup I hope I don`t have to send them back to Scotland again!

Anyone with similar experience after dynamik update?

Sorry to hear this.... Very frustrating...

I had a similar experience with a piece of kit not checked by the dealer after repair, after speaking to Owner he was horrified by he failure to check the kit and on Saturday evening kept the shop open for an extra 2 hours and gave me a replacement piece of kit as a loaner.

I am amazed your dealer has left you in the lurch

This in my humble opinion is a failure by the dealer to deliver Customer Service

No blame to my dealer, he is a very nice guy.
It's the fact that I have to wait for another 3 weeks to send the modules to Glasgow!!

Hi

Linn will ask the dealer to call the repairs manager from your house to discuss the issue. It's possibly something simple like that the power connectors have popped off the Dynamic (or the end that feeds amp boards) during transit, so it's not worth assuming the worst until that step has happened.

Back in business!
The modules where fine, the dealer just missconected some plugs.
The red (blue, black) banded speaker cables need to be connected to red (blue, black) an NOT the red (blue, black) cables. Confusing if you don`t do it every day.
Intensive testing of the dynamiked 320A`s is going on. Happy to have them back!!!

The words, 'misconnected, plugs and dealer' in the same sentence would give me cause for concern for any future business. You make it sound like you've been done a favour that it's now working. Make sure he/she knows this before they leave.

Okay, I hear what you say but....

Making a mistake with the connections is only human, we all make mistakes, but Customer Service is all about how you then manage that interaction to your satisfaction.
Being both a Linn Customer and working in Global Customer Service, I think your dealer left you short IMHO

Back to my own little story, I ended up buying the 'loaner' kit, because the Dealer turned this failure into an opportunity
