If I understand this correctly this is double RCA or XLR (L/R) on one side and 1/4 inch headphone jack on the other side or even left and right wires for attachment to a Sennheiser HD800 on the other side seems possible?

Never knew this and this would solve my need for good headphone connection and remotely controllable volume perfectly as well.

Louis, that might have been a post when I was debating whether to do this. And yes, you understand correctly. RCA-->1/4" Female is what I use; XLR to 1/4" doubles the voltage out, so that's nice. For the HD-800, you could go directly from XLR to (is it?) mini XLR on them. Hope that helps.

The other interesting thing I noticed was someone here using a cassette deck in Rec-Pause mode as a headphone amp. Lateral thinking at its finest!

PS: How do you like the 800s? I haven't been able to hear them and have an itch in my ear that they might just scratch.
