I would recommend looking into audiophile separators as seen in the linked photo. I can custom provide you with individual pieces with the proper cutout diameter so that they do not pinch the interconnects. The nice thing about them is that the wooden separators are effectively interchangeable inserts and if you have a preference for maple to match speakers (or oak), you may indulge yourself although the stock bamboo would appear to do quite well.

Using the "audiphile separators" I sense that they seem to squeeze more sound out of the interconnects. i haven't tried the hand assemble oak version yet. I have heard that a harder wood is better
