I'm starting to feel a bit guilty now given that a meeting of the original LOC international is taking place in a couple of weeks time in sunny Hampshire. Especially given the fun we had at the bash last December which involved a demo organised with the help of Mary et al. Unfortunately there are no dealers within a 30 mile radius of here so we have to make our own entertainment! We expect to be comparing amplifiers of various makes to my Klimax twin. Did you know for instance that there is a forum member happily using B&O amplification that sounded fine to me with a KDS/1 hung on the front of it. Various members will be bringing suitable gear to make it all happen. We also hope to compare the difference between the performance of my system with and without a KK , a contentious topic I think. There is one international member of the club who owns a substantial amplifier of Swiss origin and a pair of Acapello violins. He won't be bringing them because apparently easy jet charge for an additional seat for each speaker plus a weight excess for the amplifier. I should also point out that this particular LOC was formed the day after the DS Glasgow event at Linn and requires members drinking credentials to be of a suitable standard. Oh and their ability to consume large amounts of red meat! The missus came back from Waitrose with a load of beer and wine to oil the listening session today and she's not even going to be there! Everything is prepared Guys - you know who you are!

I think each of those monster speakers would need more than one seat, possibly more than a row each!
