RE: Dear Linn, lose the website redesign
Customer Service is not the same as Marketing and when you get the two mixed up you are unlikely to have served anyone....
In fairness they do pretty well by sevicing us with this forum, but when we want something as simple as an old manual or a price for LP12 belt its less than intuitive
LP12 / Renew / KK in Black / Tunebox full of cards / LK140 X2 / Klout on the Bass / Keltiks / lots of Silver Linn Cables / thick grey expensive cable under the floor boards AKA K600 - Qnap/Twonky/Kinsky/Netgear and some other stuff I almost understand ![]() Vintage untuned and slightly deaf ears ! |

RE: Dear Linn, lose the website redesign
Time for Linn to ask us what we want and our children, those that are 17 or so and over.
How do they find the Linn site? 1. Aspirational 2. Informative 3. Seductive enough to buy or a least when you start work It's just that I have noticed that wherever I surf, sonos pops up inviting me to come and have a look, I did and bought. I like the way they use videos to explain what they do and they price things, simple but important. I know sonos has downloaded a cookie, why don't Linn, there's nothing wrong with it. Linn must keep us older folk happy and attract a new customer base. Avalon Klimax DS/1 , Klimax Kontrol/2, klimax chakra twin(Dk), akurate 242 (new bases) speakers, nordost Tyr & Linn balanced silvers, russ andrews purifier block and mains.Tranquil ava rs3 server, ipad 2 & kinsky & songbook lite. (2012-06-08 01:31)SeeDee12 Wrote: WTF? Who do you think this website is geared to? potential buyers or existing customers? I could not agree more. Many forum members complained about the redesign here: http://forums.linn.co.uk/bb/showthread.p...488&page=9 It all fell on deaf ears. I think the website looks like something from Napster, and not a high end HiFi that I have worked hard to upgrade. Conclusion: great HiFi, horrible website. Primary: Karik -> Numerik -> Kairn -> LK100 x 3 -> Tri-Aktiv Keilidh's Secondary: Mimik -> Majik -> LK100 x 2 -> Aktiv Keilidh's |

RE: Dear Linn, lose the website redesign
So did anyone find the manuals? I am looking for manual for older products, specifically the AK/0.
This new website is hip and artsy, but as far as being useful, it is just terrible. Should have kept the old website as is and provided a link to go to it for those who want to. klimax renew ds |
