Qnap firmware 3.7.0 breaks functionality of OTR QPKG (enables reuse of copy button)
Hi
This might cause an issue for one or two forum members who have used the OTR QPKG to run a script (so possibly nobody, but I think a couple of folks might be using it. Below is a copy of the post I've just added to the Qnap forum: Hi Folks I just updated my TS-659 to 3.7.0 (without first reading the notes) and it broke the wonderfully useful OTR QPKG by 'Micke'. I use that to run a script which toggles hibernation off or on (which saves Windows spinning it up and down several times per day, but enables it to spin the disks down at night; all by simply pressing the copy button). Having now read the notes, I see that Qnap have enhanced the feature set behind the 'copy' button (which is great for the huge majority of folks) so that explains why the OTR stopped working (which is a bummer for me) but the totally great news is that I reverted to 3.6.1 and all is now well again! All the best Bri |

RE: Qnap firmware 3.7.0 breaks functionality of OTR QPKG (enables reuse of copy button)
I contacted the chap who designed the OTR QPKG today and he's going to look into modifying it (in a day or so) to work with the new firmware.
