Find the IP address x.x.x.x of your NAS, then use a browser to go to http://x.x.x.x:9000. If the built-in UPnP is Twonky, this will bring up the Twonky admin page which will allow you to find the software version.

I might add this in the future (not the near future). If I do add it, it won't be built into the MinimServer download but will require you to download a separate decoder as a plug-in.

I'm interested to know whether you've done double-blind listening tests to establish whether you can hear a difference between passing FLAC and WAV to the KDS/1. Before I start working on supporting this, I'll be doing this test myself to see whether I can hear any difference.

First of all let me thank you for the fantastic job you have done with Minimserver, Simon!

In addition to the advanced tagging and searching possibilities, Minimserver has one more advantage that I value above all others. It displays album art in all different types of embedding and non-embedding. This allows me to further use Rip (which I definetely prefer over XLD - much faster and more stable) that embeds album art in the .png format, which Twonky does not support. When I first started to use Twonky on my Qnap I had ripped already about 1.200 CDs and none displayed the album covers. I then started to re-tag all the CDs deleting the embedded art and adding a Folder.jpg. A job that is not very funny (in six months I got up to the letter J - I have a job and a family life as well). Since I use Minimserver everything is fine and I am a happy listener...Oh I forgot, now I have started to re-tag everything again, because minimserver is so damn flexible...
