Problem solved: Kinsky and network discovery WNDR3700
To be honest at first I was not too pleased with Kinsky and Konfig: it took a long time to recognize my playback devices. I thought it was due to Kinsky and Kinsky as Songbook (on the iPad) was working correctly and quickly.

Recently I received another router from my ISP and that changed everything! The problems are now completely solved. I do not know if others have experienced the same problems with Netgear's WNDR3700 but I found the Cisco EPC3925 to be working very quickly with Kinsky.
