Raidho Speakers.........Anyone?

I heard their new floorstanders (don't know what model) recently at a classic album replay night at Loud And Clear in Glasgow on the end of an lp12 kimax kontrol and a pair of solos and they sounded incredible and went very loud! They are probably the best speakers I have heard. Take in to account I am an audiophile in training though but my ears loved them! Then again they were playing Marvin Gaye and even my pure radio in the kitchen sounds awesome when Marvin is on!

By pure fluke I bumped into the Precision Audio's room in the Hong Kong audio show. They were showing the diminutive Raidho C1.1 driven by Linn Klimax electronics. I had never heard of Raidho till then.

Let me tell you they were by far the best sounding room in the whole show. This little setup had no right sounding this good, very articulate and dynamic room filling sound. The woofers were the size of a big Mac for goodness sake.

Expensive speakers but nice if you can afford them.

I heard them recently as well. I was at the HK audio show earlier today and spent a considerable amount of time at precision's Linn booth (the raidho were at the main floor booth) where there were a few linn staff including Mr. tiefenbrun and spent a considerable amount of time speaking with Mr. Steve Croft (director of sales). Great bunch of people

Since precision represents both Raidho and Linn and I intend to spend some time comparing the speakers although even their cheapest bookshelf is 50% more than the A242!!!

Also heard the Kiko--but the place wasn't setup for critical listening--but it sure is pretty

I heard them at the Weybridge show earlier this year, superb speakers.

I was there too yesterday and today and IMHO, the C1.1 were sounding not so good at the HK show, at least compared with the sound I was used to have in my store. The "portable" booth can be the culprit as no room there was sounding ok. Can't say have I've heard good sound in the other floors either (maybe one or two rooms .....).

I was most impressed with the T+A speaker booth (jadis) next to linn. most of the rest sounded pretty bad including linn. as the dealer told me the show is to 'see' not to 'hear'
