RE: Unipivots - tune dem
Seeing a crucial component (& one of the best available) has been sourced from a certain well known Essex based manufacturer, perhaps the letters "RR" could be adopted in the name of this product?

To be entirely fair it looks a "cute" design Wink

So Kute RR sounds appropriate to me.

Regards.

RE: Unipivots - tune dem
Using Arrow as a starting point, I wondered about the thing that holds them. The Quiver? Not such a good name. The Anti-Quiver? No

The Fletch? (the feathers that keep the arrow straight in flight)

I like that one.

RE: Unipivots - tune dem
A pal of mine has just come up with EsKalator. Which I quite like.

My thoughts on a name for it is, Resonator, it looks like a lot of metal to add to an armboard, IMHO. Hope Iam wrong ?

rosie

I see salty dog has beaten me to Eskalator still like it.

Looks like you guys hhave been having fun while I've been away running the KlinnikBig Grin Some great suggestions for sure and I'm glad you like the idea of it.

Regarding your concerns rosie.... It was I along with Fozz about the same time, spotted that the arm rest had the potential to ring. Application of some simple damping resolved this. So fear not, the lift (whatever it gets called) shouldn't add anything other than the ability to lift. I also feel it's a neater and more effective solution than the now discontinued Naim Aromatic, which up until now, was really the only real lifter option for use with the Aro.

Kind regards,

Peter

RE: Unipivots - tune dem
For info, and as Peter is aware, I have opted for a Nima.

The thread has moved on to talk about the arm lift, which of course is absolutely fine, if anything the thread needs to be renamed to get the attention of those it would interest!

You never know, some time in the future I might have a personal interest in this arm lift....

Nah, just being a bit "premature", saves me forgetting to update it in the future though.

The appointment to fit one is booked.

I hope you get as much enjoyment as I am getting from mine.
Will be keen to hear your feedback when fitted.

Many thanks for some great suggestions but we are staying with our first choice of Elevator
