this seemed to of fixed it for me also so far.
System: Majik DSM, 2 x Meridian 557, maple espeks with upgraded bases, k400, 2x silver RCA, Fujitsu Celvin 802

Same here too. Going back to davaar 6 did not work too. With davaar 6 same problems here. I am still with davaar 6 since davaar 7 my highres files did not play.

I had also problems with my Majik DS-I and Davaar 7. My SPDIF ports did sometimes not work and there was mostly a scrape in the sound of the SPDIF sources.

Now I installed the Linn Konfig 4.9.2 beta and also Davaar 4.9.2 beta.

Until now the issue does not appear any more. All ports work fine and the sound of the sources is also good - no scrape any more.


But I have a wish for the future:
Please, make extensive tests prior you release a new Davaar firmware. Until I found out that this is a software bug, it took about 2 hours. This is not the service I expect! Thanks...

Like all releases this was extensively tested

However none of the units we used for test exhibited the issue .... it was only a few units which actually showed any problem in this area and it didn't happen to be any of the units we have at Linn HQ

Unfortunate, but these things happen.....sorry

Davaar 9 beta worked for me too. Until now all ports work fine.

I would underline the above last paragraph.
