My lp12 only is used rarely but I still enjoy using it. The obvious answer is to buy a linto (funds wouldnt stretch to a uphorik) but i cant locate one right now(unless anyone is selling-PM me) . My query is what would make a reasonable stop gap to keep me going meantime until i can locate a linto, but wouldnt cost too much eg cambridge audio azur 651? all advice most welcome as i have no experience of separate phono stages!!

Rothwell Rialto.

You can get an even better sound by running it in MM mode and adding their MCL step-up transformer for low output carts such as the Klyde.

One of the lintos is from a dealer in hamburg called Sound and Vision does anyone have experience of them? I would be grateful if anyone has any guidance as to what lintos are selling for on ebay etc . Have also realised i could use my kairn as a phono stage until i obtain a linto . I had been planning to sell it to help fund the kisto but the path to audio nirvana isnt smooth!!

Anyone tired a Slipsik with a step-up transformer for low output moving coils?

Lehmann Black Cube is relatively inexpensive and adjustable for mm or mc

punches way above its weight

you could just buy a new one with a warranty

start with the wall wart power supply

if you like it add on the external power supply later (it's all pretty cheap)
