How many adaptors in 5125 to aktively drive A 242s?
I have a 5125 and plan to get another one to aktively drive a pair of Akurate 242s. I have read on the forum that I need adaptors to fit the cards - Do I need 1 pair (2) or 5 pairs (10) adaptors to do this? As I understand, these adaptors are as costly as the aktiv cards!

The 242s are MK2.

I know I can get them for free from Linn when purchasing the aktiv cards, but I have found some used that I would like to go for.

Thanks.

You will need 5, if you took advantage of the Linn promotion and bought a 6100, or 4200, you could get all the aktiv cards free, and would not need the adaptors for 6 of the 10 channels.

Shoot! So it's like GBP 1,000 just in adaptors!

They are free with new cards, so it will cost you more to buy s/h cards and adaptors!
