How can I update a DS without internet?
Hi,
my play-music-only-environment consists of a Renew DS, Akurate DS, a Windows Home Server with MinimServer, and a wireless tablet pc as control point. This network has no connection to the internet - and will not get one. To update Kinsky or Konfig, I log my tablet pc on to another WLAN with an Internet connection. But this way I cannot update the Renew DS. Is there a way to download the files I need to update the DSs - or is there another way, without connecting my play-music-only-environment to the internet? J. WHS (no-name, 7,9 TB, MinimServer) --> Klimax-DS --> Accuphase CX-260 --> BM35 WHS -> Akurate DS/Thales Turntable/Blue Amp-> Accuphase DC330 -> Accuphase DG-48 -> Accuphase DF-45 -> Accuphase M-6000 and M-8000 -> IRS V |

Yep - when you're updating Kinsky or Konfig, you can also go here to download the file you need:-
http://products.linn.co.uk/VersionInfo/D.../Releases/ ...then simply reconnect the machine to your DS LAN and upgrade from there.. Mick Source 1:- LP12/Radikal/Keel/Ekos II/Akiva/Urika Source 2:- Klimax Renew DS/iPad 2/Kinsky/Asset System:- KK/1/D - 3 * 2250s(D) - K600 - Aktiv Espeks All upgrades on hold whilst new boiler is financed! |

I downloaded the file. What do I do with it then? Is this the correct way? quick question here, I cant seem to find any zip's for my renew DS under http://products.linn.co.uk/VersionInfo/D.../Releases/
anyone know where they are? Or am I simply just blind? edit: oh nevermind, apparently there was files for rds in the klimaxDS zip
