I can't even abide watching the man, let alone wanting him to win !

Actually one of my problems with AM is that he is a 'professional' Scot, almost worse than 'professional' Geordies etc etc etc...

No warmth about him at all - no joy - lord knows he's got a PR machine trying to convince us he's a bona fide British Sporting hero....but he's just not got it...

Terribly unpatriotic of me - but I delight in every underachievement and failure; fingers crossed for his next match!

He is a tennis player not a "Personality". He is one of the top 5 players in the world...'nuff said.

There have been a number of dour sportsmen (and women) in all sorts of sports.
