Yes, I know this is daft, but it still intrigues me....

We have Davaar 9 in Beta - so why was Davaar 4 the only even numbered version.....?
To put it another way, what happened to versions 2, 6 & 8?

Go on, someone tell me you know the answer.....

Davaar 2 was a KDS bugfix for 32 kHz
Davaar 4 was the initial release for ADSM and KDSM
Davaar 8 was the intial release for Akurate Renew DS

All this releases have in common that they were just a step in between for special models and not for all. The uneven releases put the threads together again and were released for all models.
